The giants weren’t ready. For the cold, the packers, or the playoffs. I have never been more pissed off as a Giants fan. All we had to do was keep it together. And instead, we imploded. Before the game and during. Before the game, the “yacht club”consisting of the three giants starting wide receivers. A week before the biggest game of the season these three for lack of a better word clowns are partying in Miami. What the HELL are you thinking. But if you show up in Lambo, none of that matters. But they failed to do just that. Odell: 3 catches 28 yards and three drops, one being a surefire touchdown and a first down. Shepard: 3 catches 54 yards and two drops including a a touchdown and a first down.   Cruz: 3 catches 30 yards. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Biggest game of the year and NO ONE decides to show up. But much more factored into the loss. Not being able to capitalize on the packers slow start. We needed to score two touchdowns instead of two field goals and what happened was the chickens came home to roost which was the packers getting going. I always say teams that score touchdowns instead of field goals win games. The giants consistently left points on the field during the season and finally a good team made them pay. How about the running game? Paul Perkins had 30 yards on 10 carries. The giants were in 2nd and 9 situations the whole game. How about special teams? Brad Wing had 3 horrendous punts and Bobby Rainey made the dumbest player of the year by catching the ball and going out at the 2 instead of letting it go out of bounds and then getting the ball at the 40.  Game wasn’t over but that was the nail in the giants coffin. Or how Dwayne Harris caught numerous balls inside the 10, making the giants have terrible field position all game. Don’t get me started on the hail mary. We give up a hail mary because Eli Apple lets cobb get behind him. Completely changed the momentum of the game heading into halftime. My biggest fear before the game was that Eli wouldn’t show up. But the irony in that is that everyone but eli failed to show up. Losing DRC didn’t help either. Literally in the 2nd half, rodgers continually just looked to who was in the slot and targeted that receiver. And where was Olivier Vernon? Rodgers would just sit back in the pocket forever and just pick apart our defense. So many dumb mistakes we made that led to our doom. But the simple matter of the fact is that everyone except Eli, Collins, and Tavarres King of all players decided not to show up in the biggest game of the year, leaving a spoiled taste in Giants fans mouths heading into an offseason where an ugly playoff loss looms over a season of success.
