NFL week 3 picks

Jaguars vs Ravens(London): I know the Ravens look good right now, but the Jaguars are not going to let them go to 3-0. The Jaguars and bortles are good in London so give me the jags

Jaguars 27 – Ravens 20        Jags +3

Giants vs Eagles: this is a must win for the Giants and I’m going to pick them. It’s more heart then head but I am really pulling for them. They need this win. The more realistic pick is the eagles get pressure on manning constantly and win a low scoring game. But I gotta believe.

Giants 23 – Eagles 20    Giants +5

Broncos vs bills: I think this is another undefeated team that will have their first loss today. The bills are really good at home and their strength on offense, running the ball, could be the broncos weakness on defense. It’s a little risky, but give me the bills.

Bills 20 – broncos 17       Bills +3.5

Steelers vs bears: the Steelers are not good away from home, but they are way to talented and from what I saw from the bears last week, they are not. Jordan Howard is banged up and mike glennon is still mike glennon.

Steelers 26 – bears 20       Bears +7

Falcons vs lions: this game is going to be great. Ryan Vs Stafford. I think the Falcons just have a better roster though and pull this one out.

Falcons 30 – lions 27        Lions +3

Browns vs colts: don’t plan on watching this game much. Give me the browns

Browns 22 –  colts 20        Browns -1

Bucs vs Vikings: I think, even without Bradford, get the win. The bucs looked pretty good last week, but it was against the bears. The Vikings defense is loaded and win in a slug fest.

Vikings 13- bucs 10        Vikings +1

Texans vs pats: everyone overreacted about Brady’s average game week 1. He’s back and so are the pats. Good luck, Watson.

Patriots 27- Texans 17      Texans +14

Dolphins vs jets: the jets have been better then I thought, but still not good. Dolphins by a TD

Dolphins 24 – jets 16          Dolphins -6

Saints vs panthers: the panthers haven’t been great but they are 2-0. They go to 3-0 on the back of Cam Newtons break out game. Start Panthers players in fantasy.

Panthers 31 – saints 27    Saints +5

Seahawks Vs Titans: it’s time to admit it guys. The Seahawks are done. There offense is horrible. The defense is great but that won’t last forever. Titans win

Titans 17 – Seahawks 12      Titans -2.5

Bengals vs packers: the Bengals are a joke and it’s in lambo. Peace. But could be a trap game.

Packers 27- Bengals 20        Packers -7

Chiefs vs chargers: I like the chargers roster too much to let them fall to 0-3.

Chargers 24 – chiefs 23       Chargers +3

Raiders vs redskins: this has a “Kirk cousins big game” feel. Redskins win in a shootout.

Redskins 35 – raiders 34          Redskins +3

NFL Picks week 2

Browns vs Ravens: The Ravens looked very good last week, but the browns also did surprisingly. This will be a battle of O-line vs D-line. Give me the Ravens in a close one just because they are home and are superior on defense.

Browns: 17 – Ravens 20    Browns +7.5

Bills vs Panthers: This game is going to be close because the Bills will run the ball and play good defense. But the bills just aren’t as talented as the Panthers. Even if this game was in Buffalo, I’d pick Carolina but this game is in Carolina. Give me the Panthers behind a big game from Kelvin Benjamin.

Cardinals vs Colts: I feel bad for TY Hilton fantasy owners.

Cardinals 24- Colts 13    Cardinals -6.5

Bills 17 – Panthers 27  Panthers -6.5

Titans vs Jaguars: The Jaguars defense looked amazing last week, and the Titans offense looked rusty. But the titans have a better QB and total offense, and I think they defiantly bounce back and get the win.

Titans 23 – Jaguars 20  Titans -1.0

Eagles vs Chiefs: I think the Eagles goes into Arrowhead and shock the Chiefs. Everyone is riding the Chiefs after the impressive win, but I doubt Alex Smith plays that well, doubt Kareem Hunt has that kind of game, and that Justin Houston plays that well. The Eagles defense is much better then the Pats d, and Wentz is more mobile then Brady. Plus, don’t forget the Chiefs lost their heart and soul, Eric Berry, for the year with a torn achilles. Eagles win.

Eagles 19 – Chiefs 17    Eagles +5.0

Vikings vs Steelers: I was expecting a really good game, but now Sam Bradford isn’t playing. Game over

Steelers 27 – Vikings 10    Steelers -7.5

Bears vs Bucs: I haven’t seen the bucs play this year, but I have to assume they are as good as the talent they have on paper. This game is going to close behind a lethal RB combo for the bears and that underrated defense. But Winston will make just one more play to put them over the top.

Bucs 24 – Bears 20    Bears +5.5

Patriots vs Saints: If you think the Pats aren’t going to come out and play this game like their season is on the line, you are crazy. Don’t count the Pats out yet. Expect a shootout.

Pats 38 – Saints 31    Patriots -7.5

Dolphins vs Chargers: The chargers will bounce back and win this game. I love their roster. Defense is good and Rivers will have a bounce back year. Chargers win and cover.

Chargers 31 – Dolphins 21    Chargers -3.5

Jets vs Raiders: LOL

Raiders 41 – Jets 10     Raiders -13.5

Cowboys vs Broncos: Another week, another tough defense for Dak. I think he and Zeke will keep it close, but that Broncos defense is too good. Siemien will do just enough and the Broncos will win in a defensive struggle.

Broncos 21 – Cowboys 20       Broncos +2.5

Redskins vs Rams: This is a big game for the Redskins and the new Rams coach. I love what he has done with Goff, and I think they win this game. There is a buzz and feel around the Rams, and with Donald back, they will win.

Rams 26 – Redskins 23     -2.5

49ers vs Seahawks:  Can’t tell if this game or the Jets game will be more of a joke.

Seahawks 35 -49ers 10      Seahawks -13.5

Winnners and losers of week 1 NFL

Winners:
Jared Goff:

The former first overall pick for the LA rams finally played like a number one pick. He was sensational, going 21-29 with 306 yards and a TD. He looked poised and confident, unlike last year, and really had command of the offense. He picked up his first career win and his team put up 46 points. He finally has the weapons and the protection to thrive, and he did just that week 1.

Odell’s contract negotionations:

Everyone who watched the Giants vs Cowboys noticed one thing. The offense is literally nothing without Odell. They play with no energy and it was an embarrassment. Odell now has tremendous amounts of leverage. He should use that leverage to cash in as the highest paid receiver in the NFL.

Rookie RB’s: So many rookie running backs played well this weekend. Kareem hunt had a monster 240 yds and 3 total TDS. Leonard Fornette tormented the number 1 defense from last year. Dalvin cook, Tarik Cohen, Alvin Kamara, and christian McCaffery all contributed in big ways. Overall, this weekend really showed us how talented last years running back class truly was.

Calais Campbell: We all had a feeling the Jaguars defense would be good, but not this good. The one guy that stood out was Calais Campbell. He has 3.5 sacks. In the first half. He finished with 4 on the day, abusing the Texans O-line and officially giving Tom Savage PDSD.

Losers:

Andy Dalton:

He was so bad on Sunday. He has 4 interceptions, a fumble, and his team scored 0 points. He only threw for 170 and 50% completion percentage. It was a day to forget for the red rifle.

Fantasy stars: besides Antonio Brown and LeSean McCoy, every other high pick had a bad game. Julio and AJ Green didn’t play well, Odell didn’t play, Le’veon Bell only had 10 carries and sucked, and last but not least David Johnson struggled before dislocating his wrist, so he’s out for the year. Definitely a horrible day for fantasy owners and the stars.

NFL offenses: here is a crazy stat. Last year, only one team, the LA Rams, averaged less then 300 yards of offense. This weekend, 17 teams finished with less then 300 yards of offense. Everyone looked rusty, especially established veteran QB’s. ( Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, Manning)

The fans: it was the start of the NFL season and everyone was so excited including me. Turns out we got our hopes up for nothing, because this week was horrible. No exciting games, no nail biters, just a bunch of bad football. So disappointing.

Week 1 NFL picks

Jets vs Bills: The tank game. Both these teams are not going to be good this year, but I think Shady McCoy has a big day, which lifts them over the Jets in a close one. Not confident in picking the Bills, but the jets are so bad and the Bills are home.

Bills 20 – Jets 17

Falcons vs Bears: This could also be a trap superbowl hangover kind of game for the Falcons, but with the Bears whole QB situation, I think they are too big of mess to give the Falcons any serious problems.

Falcons 27- Bears 16

Ravens vs Bengals: This is going to be a good game. The Ravens defense is going to be really good, and if Flacco and the offense can get enough points on the board, they can pull this one out. I am going to go with the Bengals because of AJ Green, but its going to be really interesting.

Bengals 21- Ravens 17

Steelers vs Browns: I like the browns, but they aren’t winning this game. End of discussion.

Steelers 31 – Browns 20

Cardinals vs Lions: I like the cardinals in this game. I really don’t like the lions this year, as their roster is weak outside of the QB. I think the Cardinals have a bounce back year, and that starts with a nice road win in Detroit.

Cardinals 24 – Lions 20

Jaguars vs Texans: I like every position on the Jaguars roster except the most important. QB. I can say the same for the Texans. But I just trust the texans experience and coaching to get it done.

Jaguars 21 – Texans 26

Raiders vs Titans: The upstart team for this year vs the upstart team from last year. I think Derek Carr is a little rusty and the Titans are hyped up for the start of the year. Give me the Titans in a minor upset.

Raiders 28 – Titans 31

Eagles vs Redskins: I think both teams have the potential to be great or be horrible. I think Wentz is insanely overrated. The skins have too many weapons on the outside for the weak eagles secondary to deal with. Jordan Reed is playing, and the skins get a W.

Eagles 23 – Redskins 24

Colts vs Rams: This game is gonna be ugly. Scott Tolzien vs Jared Goff. Give me the Rams. They are home and have the better QB. (IK LOL)

Colts 14 – Rams 17

Seahawks vs Packers: Rodgers got insanely hot at the end of the year last year and I think that continues. He maybe is the most talented QB I have seen in my lifetime.  The seahawks defense is loaded, but the seahawks oline will have major problems protecting Wilson. Give me the Packers in a great game.

Seahawks 24 – Packers 27

Panthers vs 49ers: Im all in on the Panthers this year.

Panthers 31- 49ers 21

Giants vs Cowboys: Ughhhh this game is hard to pick. It’s looking like Odell might not play which really concerns me. If he doesn’t play, the cowboys will win. If he does give me the Giants. The defense is going to be special, but the offense will have trouble moving the ball if the Oline can’t protect Eli.

Giants 21 – Cowboys 20

Steelers season preview

Offense: The offense for the Steelers, if healthy, is going to be ridiculous. Big Ben takes a lot of hits, but he continues to be great. Just needs to stay healthy. Le’veon Bell is back in camp and is the best RB in the NFL. His vision and patience is like nothing we have ever seen. The wide receivers have huge potential. Everyone knows Antonio Brown is awesome, but Martavis Bryant is back and looking better then ever. He could be in for a huge year. The tight ends are average, but nothing special. The offensive line is one of the best in the league. Overall, this offense is going to be special.
Defense: the defense is not going to be great, but it is going to be improved. The defensive line looks pretty good. Cameron Hayward is good not great, while James Harrison still gets it done opposite him. Stephon tuitt continues to be underrated, and throwing first round pick TJ Watt into the mix gives the Steelers an intriguing D-line. The linebackers are also good led by stud Ryan Shazier. The freak athlete continues to grow and improve and had his first pro bowl year last year. The secondary is the main problem on this team. They traded Ross Cockwell to the Giants, so that leaves them with Artie Burns, William Gay, and a bunch of no names. The safeties do look solid though, especially Sean Davis who looked very promising his rookie year. Overall, this defense is not on the same level as the offense, but it is definitely improved compared to last year.

Dolphins season preview

Miami Dolphins vs San Francisco 49ers

Offense: The offense has a lot of talent, but major questions at the most important positions. At QB, Tannehill got hurt again so they sign….Jay Cutler. I don’t get why anyone thinks Jay Cutler is good. He isn’t. He hasn’t thrown for 4000 yards since he was on the broncos. He is a downgrade for Tannehill, believe that. And just because he is in Adam Gase system, doesn’t mean that will translate to success. The running backs are really good led by workhorse Jay Ajayi. The wide receivers are also looking great. Jarvis Landry continues to be really good, a poor mans odell. Devante Parker has shown a lot of potential the last couple years, and is looking to breakout this year. The tight ends are okay, but not great. The o-line has a lot of questions outside of Pouncey. I like the Tackles with Tunsil and James, but they need to prove themselves. Overall, while there is talent, it all rides on the play of Cutler.

Defense: The defense looks good up front, but has questions elsewhere. Suh, Wake, and Hayes make up a very good d-line. They continue to produce despite getting up there in age, especially Cameron Wake. I don’t love the linebackers. Lawrence Timmons is older and in a new system, and Raekwon McMillan Tore his ACL. The secondary is young and needs more seasoning. The best player in the defense is safety Rashad Jones. He is great, but the rest of the secondary is young and inexperienced. Overall, this defense has pieces, but a lot of young players that are inexperienced, especially in the secondary.
