NBA thoughts so far

  • Its not working out with the thunder.  The thunder have the talent but they all are  dragging each other down. There is one ball and 3 guys who needs to ball a lot to be effective. They need to figure it out and fast.

  • The Cavs will be fine and will make the finals, but have zero shot vs the Warriors. They didn’t have a shot last year because of poor defense and bad three point shooting. None of the players they added are either young, helped them on defense, or helped them space the floor. They will have a tough time with C’s as well. Unless they can use the Nets pick to get another star who helps their needs *Cough cough Demarcus Cousins* then they are in no better position, if not worse, then last year.

  • How about Boogie Cousins, Anthony Davis and the Pelicans. They are LEGIT because these two are superstars. Cousins has been playing out of his mind and this is the healthy Davis we are accustomed to seeing.

  • Speaking of the celtics, they have built a culture so strong, that even with injuries, Major ones might I add, they continue to play great basketball. I love how Kyrie is playing as a leader on this team as they have won 10 straight. The young guys are growing up fast, and Horford is having a career year. Hats off to Brad Stevens.

  • The Paul George Trade was not as bad as everyone thinks. First off, Victor Oladipo has proven me so wrong. I thought after the embarrassing performance in the playoffs vs the Rockets that he wouldn’t recover. But he has. He is averaging a career high 23 points 5 boards and 4 assists. I love it. Sabonis has been a FORCE on the inside as well. I was dead wrong about this trade.

  • Lonzo isn’t even the best rookie on his team, let alone the best in the NBA. He has been average at best, while his teammate Kyle Kuzma has been averaging 15 and 6 and looks like a future star, while lonzo looks too passive and like I said before the draft, his lack of scoring mentality will hurt him.

  • TRUST THE PROCESS. Embiid looks amazing as we expected if healthy but how about Ben Simmons. Omg, he is unbelievable. He is averaging 17 points 10 boards and 8 assists while playing efficient basketball. He must have really been half-assing it in college because THIS Ben Simmons is a future MVP. ROY Lock.

  • The MVP race looks to be boiling down to 5 players. Harden, Curry, Giannis, Lebron, and Kristaps. I think Harden finally gets his first this year. Playing great basketball.

  • I’m saving the best for last. Who are this Knicks and what have they done with the Knicks I have known my whole life? It all starts with Kristaps. Boy is he special. He is playing on a different level and looks like a Future top 5 NBA player. Role Players are playing great and this team looks like they have a FUTURE.

Man, do I love the NBA
