Lions vs chiefs: I like the chiefs to win this game. The chiefs are desperate and they still have andy reid, that defense, and you could say alex…smith. The chiefs played well last week against a solid steelers team and even though the steelers were missing  big ben and had sorry landry jones at quarterback, they still are playing better than before and will continue to ride a little bit of a hot streak and win this game. The other team is the lions who are also playing better, stafford not playing as god awful as before and proving that his talent didn’t just vanish. But I got the chiefs in this game simply because they are the more talented team.

Buccaneers vs falcons: I like the falcons in a close one. The falcons, who now I absolutely don’t trust anymore past regular season, has struggled on offense, especially matt ryan who has had one of his worst seasons of his career, has all of a sudden forgotten he has julio jones as his wide receiver. But they scored 10 points against a bad titans defense. They have the easiest schedule in the NFL and will go 13-3 but lose early because they just aren’t that good. There defense is playing better than the miserable offense who has studs like devanta freeman and julio jones. Get them the ball. The other team, the buccaneers have played well, and jameis winston has increased and gotten better while the guy I didn’t believe in, marcus mar iota, has decreased having his team not winning a game since opening day blowout making marcus mariota a hall of famer and having buccaneers fans wishing they took him. They made the right choice but don’t have enough to win in atlanta.

Cardinals vs browns: Cardinals are nearly unstoppable at home. But on the road they don’t look so tough on the road.  I like the browns to pull off the “upset” at home vs the cards. Jimmy graham is a great talent and we know it. But the experiment in seattle has been a total disaster with the running game being sluggish, pass protection terrible, and graham isn’t essential in the offense. He has caught 2 touchdowns in 7 games and his pass blocking and run blocking is actually pathetic. Russell Wilson is running for his life without is star olinemen max unger that they need for his leadership and his veteran experience. Jimmy graham is like a ferrari but the seahawks don’t seem to want or need jimmy graham. When this trade happened, I didn’t understand why they would trade Unger. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it right? Well since they made they trade, it has caused a domino effect on other parts of the roster. Watching Jimmy graham go for a 2/31/0 stat line it just validates the fact that the seahawks regret making the trade that is causing a decrease in production for the entire roster.

NFL WEEK 7

Bills vs Jaguars: I did indeed regret taking the rex led bills and it is already starting to question, what is there identity. They were supposed to be this defense ground and pound team but the defense has definitely underperformed and Lesean mccoy, who they traded for in the offseason for Kiko Alonzo, a very talented linebacker, but Mccoy has been dealing with injuries. On defense it is definitely not personnel. They have mario and Kyle williams , jerry hughes , mar cell dareus, stephen Gilmore etc. But this team has been undisciplined and the star players have not been used correctly. Rex Ryan has always been a player coach obviously but for some reason players are always complaining about him. It may be possible that the wheels could come off the train. To make things worse, the position coming into the year with the most concern, Quarterback, has been fairly consistent with trod taylor being very good. But he is out with a sprained mcl and lingering ankle injury so Ej Manuel will get the start. For the other team, the Jaguars, even though being 1-5, have been impressive enough to me especially blake bortles to pull out the win. Week in and week out has been consistent with his mechanics and has quietly been the most impressive or made the biggest leap out of all the 2nd year quarterbacks. Jaguars pull one out in London. EJ Manual won’t make enough plays to win this game.

Jaguars 23 – Bills 20

Vikings vs Lions: Lions might actually go on a winning streak. Yes winning and lions in the same sentence. Teddy Bridgewater has disappointed as I thought he would breakout to be an MVP Caliber player but my expectations. I also said AP would run for 2,000. Even though neither of those things will probably not happen, I still think this viking team is talented enough to make the playoffs with a stout defense and a run happy offense. But this is a division game on the road against a desperate team clawing a scratching to stay in the hunt or to be more realistic not be eliminated from playoff contention. That recipe for success is not very good for the vikings as they will probably be close one in which vikings lose.

Texans vs dolphins: who in their right state of mind would actually watch this game. People were picking the texans and the dolphins to make the playoffs but both have been dragged down by coaching and quarterback play. The texans just don’t seem to have the heart or the players. The two highest paid defensive players in the NFL (JJ Watt;Suh) can’t carry a team so NEVER pay defensive players quarterback money. JJ Watt is really good but aren’t they 2-5? Bill O’briens hot seat will heat up after this game. New coach Dan Campbell who seems to care about his biceps more than the team has actually had them playing well.

Texans 17 – Dolphins 24

Steelers vs chiefs: Alex smith just can’t get it done. The chiefs players are actually very good but the quarterback who can barely be a game manager has to have an all star roster to do what he did in San Fransisco. He is just too much work, they should get a quarterback in the draft and get rid of alex smith. For the other team, what the steelers need to do is run the ball heavy to make it easy for a inexperienced Landry Jones. This game will be low scoring in which the steelers win.

Cowboys vs Giants: I like the giants to come back after a brutal game on monday against the eagles. But the fact that people are picking the cowboys because they are starting matt Cassel who has been terrible in his career since 2011, is going to make to many mistakes. The giants will have a lot of there players back from injury. Even though the cowboys have won 5 straight the giants will not let it be six. The giants will win this game and Eli will have a big day after having his worst game of the year last week.

Bucs vs redskins: The redskins always seem to be in the game and I have been impressed with how jay Gruden has kept this team with a lack of talent. But with Mike evans and Vincent Jackson against those small banged up corners, James Winston should take advantage of them. Also, if Kurt Cousins has a bad game, even though Gruden is too stubborn to put in McCoy or Griffen, he should because cousins is a interception machine. Even though the redskins are home, I think the Buccaneers pull it out.

Falcons vs Titans: After everyone loved the falcons they pulled a bengal move and lost against a worse team. The titians will be without quarterback Marcus Mariota but they are going to start Zack Mettenberger, and for what I saw last year, I think he can get the job done. This game will be close then people think, because the falcons offense has looked sluggish, against washington and the saints so I think this will be a close one in which the falcons eventually pull out because the titans are lacking the dynamic threat in Marcus Mariota.

Saints vs colts: I won’t be surprised if this scores is 100-99 because there will be absolutely no defense in this one so with the quarterback I trust to put up more points I would have to take Andrew Luck. The saints as a unit have always been bad away from home because they just never seem to get into a rhythm away from there usually unbelievable home crowd. The colts have also played better after that terrible start.

Browns vs rams: A lot of people are picking the rams for survivor but I have never really trusted the rams. They always seem to disappoint and lose a game they shouldn’t lose. I am not saying pick the browns but watch out for a ground and pound close game. Watch for a big game from Todd Gurley.

Jets vs patriots: The patriots are the best team in the NFL and it isn’t even close. But the jets will give him trouble because there defense is so talented. The reason I am picking the patriots is because the patriots have tom brady and the jets don’t. The jets defense can be the best of all time but I would still pick tom brady just because he is tom brady. Heck of a story line. No 1 defense vs no. 1 offense.

Raiders vs Chargers: The chargers, I still believe are the best team in the AFC west. Philip Rivers is playing like an MVP candidate and the raiders are reeling, losing games in late fashion. I think the Chargers win in a high scoring close one.

NFL WEEK 6

Bengals vs bills: First I want to apologize to andy dalton and marvin lewis. At first it seemed to be a classic bengals move, having everyone high on you….and then get blown out. But this team showed it has more mental toughness and grit then prior bengals teams didn’t have. Dalton was sensational in the 4th quarter and the eifert,green combination is a deadly plaque to defenses and especially secondaries. There is something missing in the seahawks team. I think the seahawk players are still hurt by the play call to pass the ball on the one yard line so his golden boy russell wilson will be the hero and not marshawn lynch. That is my opinion. But the bengals shredded the “legion of boom” 20 unanswered points including a game winning field goal winning 27-24. O-line for bengals is also up there with the cowboys. The defense is also very good. The bills are kind of flying under the radar. They are still ridiculously talented on both sides of the ball and could all of a sudden explode. If they cut penalties and tyrod taylor plays I think they could win this game. I will probably regret picking the bills but I am picking them because the bengals have to lose sometime, the bills are ridiculously talented on defense and offense, and because they are home.

Broncos vs Browns: The broncos are 28th in offense and 1st in defense. That’s right, peyton manning led offense is 28th. The reason is because peyton manning is a shell of himself. He can’t make 40% of the throws and he isn’t mobile and add on to the fact that he can’t play in cold weather. The broncos have an amazing defense but in a pass happy league, defenses can’t carry teams now and days just because all the rules are favored towards offense. 5-0 people say. They beat baltimore, raiders, vikings, lions, and chiefs. They are combined 6-18. They won 24-12, 23-20, 19-13, 16-10, 31-24, and all those games they were outplayed except the lions game. The realization is they aren’t that good. The browns have played well, especially josh mccown and they are usually good at home. The run defense has been struggling but that secondary is very good. Broncos are going to go downhill from here.

Bears vs lions: How bout the bears? After everyone calling them one of the worst teams in the NFL but have won 2 impressive games late over raiders and chiefs. Jay cutler looks like a solid quarterback because of adam gase and the offense. The defense is still pretty bad but they are playing the Detroit Lions who have been awful this year. They will probably clean house with caldwell, stafford. But I am picking the lions. It is a division game, they have lost close games to good teams and they are probably motivated with the whole world telling them how bad they are, they are definitely going to be very pissed and will “take it out” on the bears.

Texans vs jaguars: Before I talk about the game I must say blake Bortles has impressed me on how well he has performed. I am rolling with the jaguars. They play hard for gus bradley and I think they are the better team, right now. The texans are one of the disappointments in the NFL, underachieving proving that JJ watt isn’t the best player in the league because no matter how great he plays, they are still 1-4. The jaguars have overachieved and they will win this game at home.

Chiefs vs Vikings: The chiefs loosing jamaal charles, in my opinion, is the icing on the cake in the chiefs not making the playoffs. A slap in the face saying JC is their only offense and alex smith isn’t good. He put up 17 points against the bears defense?!?!?!?!?  I picked the vikings to make the playoffs and I still like them. Even though Teddy Bridgewater has disappointed this year as I thought he would become a top 15 qb but they still have Adrian Peterson and that defense. The chiefs will come to a realization that alex smith will never be better than average. He can’t carry a team, he can’t throw down the field all he does is have a good completion percentage ( checkdowns) and not many picks. The chiefs need to wake up and realize that they are going nowhere with alex smith.

Chiefs 20 – Vikings 24

Dolphins vs titians: The dolphins are so dysfunctional and laughable on how they spend so much money on star and when they get there they don’t play well. Mike wallace , Suh, Vontae Davis are a couple of examples who were or are stars who didn’t play well for them. The titans however have been surprisingly better then expected but are still lacking depth and talent surrounding there young stud marcus mariota who is very poised and a very smooth athlete. I am interested to see how eric cambell coaches cause he doesn’t seem like a coach but don’t just a book by it’s cover. But you can by the back page. Sean Payton has been raving about him to become a coach and he is one of the most respected it the league.

Redskins vs jets: This teams are very similar with there teams. Run the ball, play defense, turnover prone quarterback. I think on offenses cancel each out with explosive receivers, tough running backs and turnover prone quarterbacks. So we go to defense and by a reasonable margin the jets win that with great secondary and very good front 7. Jets could be a team who can make a run for a deep playoff berth.

Cardinals vs Steelers: If Big ben plays will be the game of the week. Two explosive offenses, a rematch of Super Bowl 43, one of the best of all time ending in a santonio Holmes touchdown that shattered arizona hearts and had pittsburgh fans cheering. Bruce arians will be back in pittsburgh after being OC. He has obviously thrived in his new gig, making their offense and carson palmer must see tv and made carson top 10 quarterback in the league. While on the other end of the matchup, pittsburgh won a very exciting game vs cards division chargers where they gave a wildcat to the best running back in the league, Le’veon Bell and he had the patience to wait it burst threw the hole. This week Cardinals will continue there hot streak with a nice win over the steelers.

Panthers vs Seahawks: I think both teams in the nfc south are overrated and I think both will lose. The seahawks now have re-attached the chip they once had that made them great. Whenever everyone is doubting them they go out and destroy the league. It is true with all teams (cough,cough patriots). For the panthers they always play the seahawks but can never get over the hump just because they just don’t have the personnel. Coaching can only get you so far but you the players as well and even though they have the players on defense, they don’t on offense.

Ravens vs 49ers: The 49ers gave my giants a scare and it wasn’t like they played bad. It just validates my point. Teams are best when they are desperate. Both teams lost late with the other team making unbelievable catches by their tight ends. I think this will again be a close low scoring game but the ravens will bounce back and win in san francisco. If you are a fantasy owner for this game don’t start anyone except forcett maybe flacco;boldin;hyde. This game will be low scoring.

Chargers vs packers: Why does it seem like the packers are ALWAYS at home. There away is a joke outside of arizona is a joke but back to the game. The chargers have continually shot themselves in the foot with dumb late game errors and loosing games late. They are the new New York Giants. The packers are still great but their offense has struggled a little bit. Yeah they put up 24 against the rams a good defense but they just didn’t have that aaron rodgers spark that they usually have. Philip Rivers has played great this year, leading the league in yards but the packers will win this game. They are nearly unstoppable at home and they have #12 as there quarterback aaron Rodgers who makes every throw look easy. Packers by 6.

Patriots vs colts: This is the ultimate revenge game. The team that almost tarnished tom brady’s career and reputation. The colts can’t stop jonas gray on the ground so start dion Lewis in fantasy!!! Their isn’t much to say about this game other than this game will be a blow-out with tom Brady treating this like a Super Bowl. To the people that say luck is a lock to be a first ballot hall of famer I don’t see you anymore. Andrew Cluck throws too many picks.

Giants vs eagles: This game will be very close but there is no way that philly should be favored by 4. Giants have won three straight and they look very explosive. It is a possibility that cruz, odell, and randle all play on monday and if that is the case the eagles defensive secondary is done. I just don’t like the eagles. There is something missing like trust with coach or lack of explosiveness and leadership at the quarterback position. Either of those but I think the giants win in a close one.

Bills vs titans: I just have a gut feeling mariota and the titans win this game as an overachieving team. The bills lead the league in penalties and surprisingly there defense can’t stop jack. Pick up Mariota or kendall wright in fantasy could have a field day, also pick up charles clay who has been great lately. I came in the year with high hopes this year and the moment I get on the bandwagon they get physically abused by a surprisingly great giants defense. Mariota has also exceeded my expectations, making every throw and playing smart. I will admit, I was wrong about Mariota.

Browns vs ravens: I am sticking with the ravens to make the playoffs because of their schedule. They have 5 of there next six being winnable games and they are also usually very good at home. I think harbough and flacco will figure it out and win this division with cincinatti crumbling and steelers injured. The browns have exceeded my expectations, they don’t the personnel to pull it off. Watch out for baltimore.

Bears vs chiefs: Last week I picked the bears to beat the raiders because I had a gut feeling they would overcome what everyone was saying and win late. That is exactly what happened. But I don’t have the guts to which I wish I had to pick the bears. But after getting humiliated two weeks in a row and scoring 7  field goals and no touchdowns I think they (the chiefs) take it out of Captain Checkdowns hands and put it in jamaal charles. Bears lose in a close one.

Seahawks vs bengals: When everyone is high on the bengals they will lay an egg. Almost everyone is picking cincinatti to win this game the division but I don’t see it. Marvin Lewis and andy dalton have been saying “like a good neighbor, state farm is there” with a playoff win. Dalton has had great oline top running game aj green top defense and he hasn’t even won a playoff game. Seattle has been in big games and they are used to this but Cincinnati are rookies in not playing but winning big games. On the other hand everyone is saying seattle is done and marshawn is done and the dynesty is over. R-E-L-A-X ( Aaron Rodgers). They have all the pieces to go back to the super bowl and this will be there watch this game and they will win by double digits and shut the critiques up.

Rams vs packers: The fact that the rams are getting 10 points amazes me if I am betting I go rams getting 10. But the difference between the two are two different worlds. If you compared the chiefs and packer chiefs are much better but packers have rodgers who is an absolute game changer. Even though is playoff record is not impressive and played pretty terribly vs seahawks in nfc championship. Rodgers has this whip when the he throws it looks so effortless and he is like a tap dancer in the pocket, maneuvering until someone gets open that is some of what makes rodgers great that is underrated, he extends better than anyone. ( Or Russell Wilson its a coin flip). The Rams are simply not talented enough to walk into lambo in steal one. I said the same thing last week about them with arizona so I may be just jinxing green bay.

Jaguars vs Buccaneers: This is the most unappealing game of the week which will still get ratings because allen robinson, mike evans and vincent jackson are on fantasy football rosters. It will be interesting to see bottles square off vs winston and I am going with Jaguars the buccaneers have disappointed me to many times. Interesting to see what they do with Lovie Smith at the end of the year.

Saints vs eagles: To be honest with you, it isn’t the crappy redskins the eagles have lost too, they are a legit team that plays physical football. The saints barely escaped a injury plagued team. The game is in Philadelphia and they are desperate. They escape with a win.

Redskins vs falcons: I think this game will close because the style of play the redskins play but the falcons will pull away late. Washington can’t stop any wide receiver and that is the falcons strength. Devanta freeman will come back to the world with an average performance. 8. Florida: This team is playing great and deserves credit. Coaching is fixing Florida.

11. 10b: Utah: Everyone calm down on the Utes because really who have they beaten to prove they are great. An okay Oregon team? The first game in the harbough era at home? Please they loose at Cal this weekend.

Jets vs Dolphins: This game will be closer than expected. The dolphins are desperate for a win after getting embarrassed vs bills. But the jets are just to good and the dolphins have no heart or energy. Reflects on the coach in my opinion.

Giants vs bills: It hurts me to pick against the giants but I have too. The bills have great players all around the field and they are nearly unstoppable at home. This giants team is very good but buffalo is a little better.

It was so obvious watching chiefs vs packers who the better team was and who had the better quarterback. Captain Check down lived up to his name as he couldn’t get anything going down the field and the greatest moment in alex smiths life was when he through a td to a wide reciever. While the other team had a less talented roster but had aaron Rodgers throwing darts all over the field. For example lets take the bills and patriots. If you took out the quarterback for both teams and just look at the teams you would say the bills would have a dynasty and patriots would be some other team. But bills haven’t been to the playoffs since doug flutie and patriots have had 4 super bowls and many afc championship appearances and 6 super bowl appearances. It’s because the bills have had a slew of quarterbacks never being the answer even though tyrod taylor looks like a special dynamic player. The nfl is all about quarterbacks. The browns have had many talented rosters but never had that quarterback that offers consistency and reliability. The 4th quarter is where the quarterback shines, playoffs are about what? Quarterbacks. The lions have had calvin johnson for his whole career and made the playoffs twice with no wins. The facts and results point towards that it is quarterback or bust. Colts,panthers all have great quarterbacks but terrible rosters. But one is 3-0 and the other is likely going to the playoffs.

Thursday game:

Ravens vs steelers: I just have a feeling that is the ravens come out and just do “watch this” to the rest of the world. Steelers no big ben no win.
